CCSET International Academy is located in Cedar Grove to the North of the island. Today CCSET operates a primary and secondary school licensed by the Ministry of Education in Antigua and Barbuda. Working with their unique philosophy and a strong focus on athletics they are in the process of building a center to encompass aquatics, archery and fitness.

Island Academy is situated in Buckleys village, east of the Capital St Johns. In 2009 it was selected to offer the highly accredited International Baccalaureate Programme and provides a very high standard of education from Kindergarten onwards culminating in the prestigious IB Diploma.

St. Anthony’s Secondary School is a non-profit organization and leading private high school based on the north side of the island. Their curriculum is drawn from National, North American and UK curriculums culminating in the CSEC (Caribbean Secondary Education Certificate)

St. Nicholas Primary School – established in 1988 the school provides a high quality level of education from reception at 4 and a half through to Grade 6. It is located close to St Anthony’s Secondary on the north side of the island in Cedar Grove.

Pre-Schools and Daycare

Montessori School St.Johns is the only Montessori school on the island and accepts children from 2-21/2 years until the age of five.  As expected they follow the Montessori method of teaching and offer a variety of extracurricular activities. More information is available on their website

Young World Pre-School and Day Nursery is a very popular pre- school in St. Johnstones Village to the north of the island.  It has very modern facilities and separate classrooms according to age.  Because of its huge popularity it is notoriously hard to get into with long waiting lists.  +1.268.462.2946
